This tour is timed to finish 5 days prior to the Ultra-trail World Tour race in Cappadocia, the Salomon Cappadocia Ultra Trail, which will give you time to taper and enjoy more of what Turkey has to offer if you wish to stay on afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions
Five commonly asked questions that have come through
Q: Do I have to be a part of Up Coaching to come along?
A: Absolutely not and we welcome athletes from all over. We run these tours under Up & About Running which is a separate entity. Our tour party last year was made up of both current Up Coaching athletes and those from the wider running community.
Q: Do I have to be a fast runner to participate in the tour?
A: Definitely not! Our tours are just that, more ‘tours with running’ than ‘training camp’. We welcome any runner with a reasonable level of fitness and sense of adventure and fun. We will group you with similar runners and with your own coach so you get the most out of your time in the mountains.
Q: Are meals included?
A: All breakfasts dinners are included, as are 4 lunches and 4 dinners. Turkish food is fantastic with wonderful food available also for vegetarians and those with a sweet tooth (Turkish Delight anyone?!?!). Meals will be planned to offer a variety of local cuisine and you should expect to come away having tried a variety of food and drinks.
Q: Is there a race at the start/end of the tour that I can do?
A: There sure is! We have timed the tour so you get to have the option of staying around in Turkey for the Salomon Cappadocia Ultra-Trail events which start 5-6 days after the tour finishes
Q: Will there be free time for sightseeing included?
A: Absolutely! Our runs tend to fill from a few hours to half of the day, and we encourage all guests to use tr spare time for sightseeing, taking in Istanbul or other historical sites around Cappadocia such as the Grand Bazaar or Open Air Museum
